Ensemble Theatre operates under a LORT (League of Resident Theatres) LOA contract with Actors’ Equity Association with an annual budget of approximately $3M.

Professional Acting Apprentice Program

Ensemble Theatre’s Professional Acting Apprentice Program is a concentrated 11-month program (August-July) that serves as a springboard for early-career actors as they begin their professional path.

Application dates for the 2023–2024 Season will be announced this fall, please check back later.

Other Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are offered in other Technical Theatre areas depending on the theatre’s needs. If you are interested in more information, please email our Director of Apprentice Programming.

Full- and part-time openings

Currently, there are no positions open.



Internships are offered on a semester and/or seasonal basis in the following areas: Arts Administration, Marketing and Communications, Development, and Education. Internships are generally only for college credit or paid for via stipend. Compensation will be noted in internship job listing.
