Nathan Neorr moved to Cincinnati in 2004 for an acting internship at Ensemble Theatre, and this has been his home ever since. His stage credits include Alice in Wonderland, While We Were Bowling, Small Engine Repair, Harvey, Night of the Iguana, A Fool for Love, Burn This, All New People, and August: Osage County. He was also a puppeteer for several years with Madcap Puppets. His film credits include The Bikeriders, Dark Waters, The Old Man & the Gun, Donnybrook, and Madtown.

Torie Wiggins is a multi-hyphenate artist whose Cincinnati theatre credits include Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson and Harry and the Thief, Know Theatre of Cincinnati; Mame, Crowns, and The Revolutionists, Human Race Theatre Company; To Kill a Mockingbird, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park; To Kill a Mockingbird, Oliver Twist, A Raisin in the Sun, and Fences, and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company; and Twilight: Los Angeles 1992 by Anna Deveare Smith, Diogenes Theatre Company. Her Ensemble Theatre credits include The Mountaintop, Violet, Alice in Wonderland, Around the World in 80 Days, Cinderella, Cinderella: After Ever After, and His Eye is on The Sparrow. Torie’s directing credits include We Are Proud to Present… and Good Kids, Miami University’s Department of Theatre; Dreamgirls and Proof, The Carnegie Theater; and Blues for an Alabama Sky, Falcon Theatre.

Lindsay Joelle is a Tucson-based writer drawn to the stories of misfits, rebels, and the unassimilated. Plays include TRAYF (Theater J, New Rep, Geffen Playhouse—LA Drama Critics Circle nomination for best writing; Goldberg MFA Playwriting Award); The Gargologists, an EST/Sloan Foundation commission (Philadelphia Theatre Company, City Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Forward Theater); and The Messengers, a sci-fi audio play commissioned by Audible. Former NNPN Playwright-in-Residence at Curious Theatre, alumna of the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop, Nashville Rep’s Ingram New Works Lab, Columbia University (BA), and Hunter (MFA).

D. Lynn Meyers has been with Ensemble Theatre for over twenty-five years, having directed more than a hundred world and regional premieres, including Hands on a Hardbody, Fun Home, Morning Sun, The Wolves, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, I Am My Own Wife, Next to Normal, Tiny Beautiful Things, and the world premiere of The Dancing Princesses. She began her career as the associate artistic director at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, has directed off-Broadway at the York Theatre, and has directed extensively throughout the US and Canada. As a member of the Casting Society of America, Lynn’s recent feature credits include The Bikeriders, Shirley, and Dark Waters, in addition to serving as the location casting director for The Shawshank Redemption. Lynn recently directed the world premiere of Fierce for the Cincinnati Opera. She was named a finalist for the Zelda Fichandler National Award in 2011, is a past recipient of the YWCA Career Woman of Achievement Award, and received the 2018 Rosa F. and Samuel B. Sachs Fund Prize for regional arts impact and leadership.

Brian c. Mehring (he/him) has designed more than 100 productions at Ensemble Theatre. His favorite productions include Thom Pain (based on nothing), Next to Normal, 33 Variations, Freud’s Last Session, and I Am My Own Wife. Mr. Mehring’s regional favorites for set design include The Last 5 Years and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park; Henry IV, Part 1, The Georgia Shakespeare Festival; and I Am My Own Wife, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Peterborough Players, and Florida Studio Theatre.

Chris Lipstreu (he/him) is a concert and theatrical lighting specialist and project manager based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. He recently served as the lighting director for the national tour of Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet and served as the lighting designer for The Wild Party, Into the Woods, RENT, The Rocky Horror Show, and Spring Awakening at Short North Stage in Columbus, Ohio. Additionally, he is the owner of Centerline Productions LLC, providing lighting services for numerous concerts, productions, festivals, and political and corporate events in the region. Chris received his BFA in lighting design from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music in 2021. This is his first season as the Associate Production Manager & Master Electrician for Ensemble Theatre.

Hannah is in her second season at Ensemble Theatre as the costume shop manager. Hannah received her BFA in Costume Design & Technology at Northern Kentucky University and her MFA in Costume Technology from Ohio University. Her work has been seen on stage at Nashville Repertory Theatre, Monomoy Theatre, Playhouse on the Square, and The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, among many others. She is beyond grateful to be part of the ETC family.

Trey Tatum (he/him) is a playwright and composer who makes silly things about serious stuff. He is the resident composer for the Off the Hill Touring Series at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Trey is one-half of Queen City Flash, a theater company currently in residence at Playhouse in the Park. Ongoing projects include the audio dramas ZOiNKS! and Have Monster, Will Travel, available wherever you get your podcasts. Upcoming projects include two new Choose Your Own Adventure-style plays at Playhouse and Xavier University. Trey lives in Cincinnati and makes theater and mischief with his wife, director Bridget Leak

Becca Schall is excited to be part of the Ensemble team to help bring these beautiful plays to the stage! She is a freelance videographer and editor in the Cincinnati area and has called Ensemble Theatre her home base since 2013. Becca works with ETC’s marketing team as the Creative Media Producer to create video content for each season. Alongside the incomparable D. Lynn Meyers, she also has the pleasure of casting for the various movies that film in Cincinnati and surrounding regions. She is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Virginia, but a native Cincinnatian who is just lucky enough to live in a city where the arts are always thriving!

Shannon Rae Lutz  (she/her) earned her Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music in 1996 and became Properties Master at Ensemble Theatre. Trained as a performer, she first appeared on ETC’s stage during the 1988-1989 New Works Festival. In 1991, she was granted an ETC internship. Now the Director of Apprentice Programming, she is honored to guide ETC’s essential ensemble: The Professional Acting Apprentice Company. Shannon would like to thank D. Lynn Meyers, Ruth Sawyer, and the Cincinnati theatre community and patrons for their generous, supportive, and tenacious spirit.

Jacob Dowell (he/him) is thrilled to be in his second season at Ensemble Theatre, this time as technical director. Jacob is a graduate of Morehead State University where he received a BA in theatre. Some previous technical direction credits include Kinky Boots, The Who’s Tommy, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Jacob would like to thank his family, friends, and cat (Ronnie) for their continued support

Lexi Muller (she/her) is delighted to be back at Ensemble Theatre, where some of her credits include include Fun Home, The Wolves, Skeleton Crew, and Fly by Night. Other regional credits include Sex with Strangers, The House, Legendale, and 26 Pebbles with the Human Race Theatre. She is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and a graduate of Wright State University, where she received her BFA in Stage Management.

Abby Sauer (she/her) is thrilled to be making her Ensemble Theatre debut! Recently, she was the production stage manager for tick, tick… BOOM! at The Carnegie, where she is also on staff as the events manager. Other stage management credits include The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, Summer Repertory Theatre Festival (Santa Rosa, CA), The Cincinnati Ballet, and Aspen Music Festival and School. Abby holds a master’s degree in arts administration from Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of the Performing Arts and a BFA in stage management from University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music.
