From here on in the terms and conditions, you will be referred to as “you” or the “user.”

Agreement between user and Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati

Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati’s website is offered to you conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein. By using this site, you signify your assent to Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati website Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy, please refrain from using our website.

Modification of these terms and conditions

Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati reserves the right to modify or change these terms, conditions, and notices without notifying you, by updating this page. By using this site you are bound to any revisions and should therefore visit this page periodically to note any changes to our policies.

General rules

At the time of reading these terms and conditions, the user agrees and will continue to agree to use our website in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined below.

For information regarding registration, personal and purchase data, and certain other information about the user and how they are used, review our Privacy Policy.

Accounts & registrations

In order to purchase tickets, reserve spots for free events or paid workshops & classes, or make donations on our website you will be required to create an account or register using your personal information. In consideration of your use of the site, you agree to: a) provide accurate information about yourself as prompted by the site’s registration and account forms; and b) maintain and promptly update information if something changes (e.g., address, phone number, etc.) to keep information accurate and complete. If you provide any false information or we have reasonable grounds to suspect that any information is false, Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati holds the right to terminate your account and refuse any and all use of our site presently and in the future. We do not independently verify the information submitted to us, and will not be liable for any fraudulent information or fraudulently completed donations and purchases.

Age restrictions

There are certain pages on our website that were created with the intent of being approachable programs for people under the age of 13, but other pages may not be age-appropriate for people under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, you may only access our site under the supervision of a parent/guardian.

Additionally, those under the age of 13 are not allowed to create an account or register on our website. Accounts may only be created by those 13 and older, and those between the ages of 13 and 17 are required to have parent/guardian permission to create accounts or have their guardians create an account on their behalf for their household.

Registration password & security

Upon creating an account on our website, you will create a user ID and a password. It is the responsibility of the user to maintain the confidentiality of their login information, and you are fully responsible for all activities which occur under your account. You are to a) notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account that occurs and b) ensure that you exit from your account after each session on our website. We are not liable for loss or damage which comes from your failure to comply with this section.

Ticket pricing and availability

Tickets for Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati performances, classes, workshops, educational events, and third-party events are only sold through our Box Office, reachable at (513) 421-3555, located at 1127 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH, 45202, OR on this website, ensemblecincinnati.org and are not sold through any third-party vendor. Prices posted on our website are valid as of the time posted, and will be honored if purchased at that time but are subject to change based upon availability, performance date, etc. Prices include certain taxes and processing fees which may be non-refundable. All distribution methods access the same ticketing system and inventory.

Canceled or postponed events

On occasion, some of our events may be canceled or postponed to a later date due to reasons such as weather, safety, injury, or otherwise. If this is the case, our website will be updated to reflect the cancellation or postponement as quickly as possible once announced to the public and attendees. If you purchased tickets to said event, we will notify you via email at the address you registered upon purchasing your ticket. Should there be a cancellation, we will make our best effort to place you in comparable seats on a different performance night for the same production. If this is not possible, or if it was a one-night-only event, a credit will be made to your account for another time, or you may be issued a refund.

Refunds and exchanges

If there is a scheduling conflict for your selected performance date, or you need to make a change, we are happy to move your seats to a different performance date if there is availability. We will not, however, issue a refund and only allow credits to the user’s account.

Payment processing

If you are purchasing tickets or registering for educational programs through ensemblecincinnati.org, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by the website, including true and correct name, address, and a credit/debit card number with expiration date. If you provide any information that is false, not current, remains incomplete, or we have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is false, not current, remains incomplete, we have the right to terminate your purchase and sell the tickets or enrollment to another customer. We do not independently verify any customer information, and we will not be liable in any way for inaccurate or fraudulently provided information or fraudulent purchases. We do not knowingly transact on this website with any user under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, you are not allowed to purchase tickets or enroll in educational programs on ensemblecincinnati.org. Your parent or guardian must purchase tickets on your behalf or enroll you in our educational programs.

Ticket delivery

Starting July 1, 2022, we will offer ticket delivery as only e-tickets, emailed print-at-home tickets, or pick-up hard-copy tickets at will call in our Box Office. We do not independently verify the accuracy of your billing or email address, and we will not be liable in any way for tickets delivered to an incorrect address. If you choose to pick up tickets at will call, please bring your confirmation number, credit card used to purchase the tickets, and a valid photo identification.

Number of tickets

If you’re buying 8 tickets or more to an event, please visit our Group Sales page for more information on reserving seats, discounts, and more. If you are purchasing tickets for a school or student organization, please visit our Student Matinee page for more information on how to request those seats.

No resale

Tickets purchased on ensemblecincinnati.org are for personal use ONLY and are not to be resold through any third-party platform. We will investigate and take legal action against anyone who violates this term, including permanently blocking access to our website and deleting violator’s reservations. If we have reason to believe that you are violating this term, we reserve the right to cancel any and all registrations or tickets you have with Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati.

Donations

We accept donations through our website via credit card in accordance with the payment terms listed above. Donations made to Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati are tax-deductible less the value of any goods or services received. Once your donation has been processed, we will email you with the proper information regarding your tax-deduction options. We are not liable in any way for tax-deductions which are for some reason disallowed, including but not limited to our loss of charitable status or any change in the tax code or regulations. We do not independently verify donor information, and will not be liable in any way for inaccurate or fraudulently provided information or fraudulent donations. We do not knowingly accept donations from any person under the age of 18.
