Join us for a week of collaboration, professional development, and networking! You’ll have the opportunity to hear from many wonderful organizations about the work being done in our community and learn about ways to make your organization more inclusive. We will have different speakers for each day, with a celebratory luncheon at the end of the week.

Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities
Join Cynthia Crews and Julia Wagner from Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities as they discuss the incredible services their organization provides. They will demonstrate one of the inclusive modules they present as part of training and discuss the consultations they provide for businesses.

Ghostlight ASL & Art Possible
Ghostlight ASL will be discussing their unique and artistically focused ASL interpretation services. They will talk about the importance of offering ASL in addition to closed captioning and why it is crucial to choose your ASL interpreters intentionally.
Megan Fitze from Art Possible will speak on hiring and creating an inclusive environment for employees and patrons with disabilities. Art Possible is a statewide service organization that hires and collaborates with individuals with disabilities to enhance the accessibility of arts and cultural institutions.

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital & Bi-Okoto
Dr. Jen Smith from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital will discuss inclusive practices for engaging patrons in your theatre or arts organization. Dr. Jen has collaborated with Ensemble Theatre and other organizations throughout the city to train employees and provide guidance on creating a space of belonging for every person who walks through the door.
Bi-Okoto will present an interactive drumming and dance session that will connect team members, provide inspiration for music and sensory experiences in the classroom, and raise awareness about the diverse community in Cincinnati.

Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati & Playhouse in the Park
Learn from the Ensemble Theatre’s education team about the inclusive programming they provide to schools throughout the year and how their programming has changed and grown through school feedback and continued inclusive training.
Ariana Moses and Emily Himonidis from Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will share information about their Launch Pad program, an inclusive addition to their incredibly successful summer camps. Emily Himonidis is an arts educator in the Cincinnati school system, specializing in inclusive practices and providing training to the Playhouse education staff.
