Creating a new musical is a journey of imagination, collaboration, and discovery. Inspired by Corner of the Sky: The Songs of Stephen Schwartz, this conversation explores how new works come to life, from first draft to opening night. As the home of world premieres including Dancing Princesses, Who All Over There?, I Shall Not Be Moved, and Fiona: The Musical, as well as regional premieres such as Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Next to Normal, ETC offers a unique perspective on bringing new stories to the stage.
ETC Essentials is a free community conversation series that dives deeper into the context and themes of our main stage productions. Each event brings together local organizers, experts, and scholars to spark dialogue and create connections that extend beyond the stage.
