We rely on hundreds of enthusiastic volunteers each season to make our shows and engagement programs possible.
Giving back has never been so entertaining!
Becoming a member of our volunteer group, the ETC Entourage, is a great way to help support Ensemble Theatre. In return, you get a chance to see our season productions while meeting other performing arts enthusiasts!
We depend on our volunteers at each performance to set the stage for patrons to have a great experience from the moment they enter our lobby until the curtain goes down.
Most volunteers primarily serve as ushers for performances, however, there are other ways they provide behind-the-scenes support. This includes administrative help such as marketing, fundraising, and box office mailings, and occasionally volunteer support for our fundraisers or special events.
Usher duties include reading tickets, scanning tickets, directing patrons to their seats, and light clean-up after the performance. Ushers may also be asked to meet and greet patrons, help stuff programs, distribute programs, and direct patrons to various lobby locations.

Entourage Standards
We are looking for individuals who maintain a positive attitude with patrons, fellow volunteers, and staff and should exhibit professional work habits including arriving on time for shifts, adhering to Ensemble Theatre workplace policies, and following supervisor instructions.
Entourage members should be flexible and responsive to changes in the scope of their duties.
What we're looking for

- An enthusiasm for theatre!
- Volunteers must have a valid email address.
- Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and attend a training session.
- Arrive one hour before the performance and stay 15 minutes after the show ends.
- Wear the proper ETC attire as directed.
- Most usher assignments require the ability to navigate stairs and/or stand for 30 minutes.
